iOS Design Engineer
We believe in fluid, multi disciplinary talent.
In this role you'll be able to wear both iOS UI Designer and Engineer hats!
— Location
New York City
We all work remote, but would like to have all the Design Engineering team based in New York City. We will probably rent a small office space at some point, where we could meet for meetings and social events.
— Experience level
3~5 years experience — Mid-weight
— What we do
At DCT, we're creating the next generation of art and design platform bridging live events with online commerce. We slated to softly launch later this year.
— Who are we
We're a small and humble team of art lovers, engineers, designers, product managers and live events specialists.
We've built big and small things before. From e-commerce platforms, to the most popular OS system (!), to important art fairs.
We've met each other in previous jobs and created a strong relationship. We trust each other.
This new project is ambitious, but we also want to enjoy working with each other and feel comfortable.
We're growing and looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.
— The role
As iOS Design Engineer, you will be able to flex your muscles both in design and code.
You will start by wireframing your ideas in Figma, discuss it with the team, then prototype it in SwiftUI.
Our iOS Design Engineer role is very fluid, part UX and UI designer, part engineer.
Use iBeacon to get precise location of a user, create and indoor map a guide the user through an event venue.
Use Machine Learning to take a picture of an artwork, match it within a collection of artworks in our database and display relevant informations.
Use Augmented Reality to display 3D animated models in space
