We all work remote, but would like to have members of the Platform Engineering team based in Seattle, WA. We will probably rent a small office space at some point, where we could meet for meetings and social events.

At DCT, we're creating a next generation art and design platform bridging live events with online commerce. We are slated to softly launch later this year.

— Who are we

We're a small and humble team of art lovers, engineers, designers, product managers and live events specialists.

We've built big and small things before. From e-commerce platforms, to the most popular OS system (!), to important art fairs.

We've met each other in previous jobs and created strong relationship. We trust each other.

This new project is ambitious, but we also want enjoy working with each other and feel comfortable.

Engineering at DCT is oriented toward finding solutions rather than picking technologies. We take pride in embracing tried and true solutions paired with the latest, greatest new tools.

We're growing and looking for a diverse set of backgrounds and skill sets to augment our team.

— The role

Platform Engineering supports the Product and Design Engineering teams in shipping beautiful, performant user experiences.

As a Platform Engineer, you can span the stack, from infrastructure through the service layer to frontend engineering if desired.

Depending on project, you could start by adding an endpoint to an existing service or spinning up something entirely new.

You should be familiar with relational databases, cloud hosting, containerized workloads and API design. E-commerce experience is a bonus.

Comfortable in a polyglot environment where tools are chosen to suit the task.
